Crushers from MFL for more than 60 years

For more than 60 years the Mineral Processing Division of MFL – Maschinenfabrik Liezen und Gießerei Ges. m. b. H – has been planning, manufacturing and mounting stationary and mobile plants for the comminution and preparation of mineral raw materials, ores and coal as well as for the recycling of building material waste. First and foremost, plants from MFL stand for profitability. They are robust, have a long service life, are reliable and involve low operating costs.

STE 100.65T – it is tough and durable and easy on the environment

The STE 100.65T (Fig. 1) belongs to the efficient medium range of the crawler-mounted MFL plants. The jaw crusher tough and durable both as regards natural stone and demolition waste, conserves the environment and offers maximum safety. The plant will be presented live at the steinexpo, stand A9.

The crawler-mounted plant is equipped with an integrated double-deck screen and a single-toggle jaw crusher. The feed bin with a volume of up to 6 m³ ensures continuous operation and can be fed by wheeled loaders and excavators. Like all plants from MLF, the STE 100.65T also has the rating “long service life”. This is due to ease of operation and maintenance as well as a simple and robust design.

With a feed size of up to 900 mm, the STE 100.65T achieves a throughput of up to 200 t/h, depending on the desired product size that varies between 0/70 and 0/200 mm. If the feed is contaminated it can be discharged laterally. If this is not necessary, all the pre-screened material is led to the main discharge belt. The adjustment of the discharge opening of the crusher is hydraulically supported, i.e. it can be carried out quickly and without any problem. For use in recycling, the crusher is equipped with a so-called bending zone, which prevents the conveyor belt from being damaged by iron. Depending on the requirements and the feed material, the wear parts are offered with the corresponding casting quality – either wear-resistant or highly wear-resistant. During transportation, the plant of 41 tons has a length of approx. 13.7 m, a width of 2.5 m and a height of 3.6 m.

Great attention is paid to the environment and safety. The diesel-electric drive system ensures low production costs for the customer. On request the plant can be equipped with a generator change-over system that enables mains operation. All the new exhaust-emission standards for recycling are met by the low-noise Volvo motor of stage 3A. A spraying system ensures effective dust reduction in the range of the crusher inlet and outlet. The entire plant corresponds to the latest safety standards of MFL and fully complies with machine safety rules.

RCI 100.100T – economic, robust and reliable

Resource efficiency and, consequently, high profitability are two properties of MFL crushers that are appreciated by the customers – and they get them. Already 15 years ago the engineers from Liezen placed their trust in diesel-electric drives of mobile plants. Due to a continuous further development today this drive of the crawler-mounted impact crusher RCI 100.100T (Fig. 2) has an average consumption of only 15 l/h. Compared to a diesel-hydraulic system, this means halving the operating costs. Also these machines can be converted to the mains current without any problems. Short set-up times and a modern PLC control unit additionally contribute to the economic operation of the mobile processing plant.

The RCI 100.00T is distinguished by a solid design meeting all requirements in a robust way. It belongs to the 30-t-class and, consequently, can be easily transported. The multi-purpose plant from MFL reliably comminutes natural stone, demolition waste, asphalt and gravel and processes up to 150 t/h depending on the material and the discharge opening. The discharge chute below the crusher outlet is not only MFL standard, but also has an integrated automatic cleaning function.
