A positive balance
Vicenza-based MB S.p.A. is a worldwide leader in the production and sale of jaw-action bucket crushers. Thanks to their flexibility in operation and the resulting advantages, MB bucket crushers (Fig.) are ideal for demolition work and handling materials from excavation, construction pits and mines, for land reclamation and the upgrading of former industrial and urban sites. Thanks to the healthy economic growth in recent years, the company was able to channel its handsome profits into solid investments in research and development. Despite the international crisis, the Vicenza-based company was able to close the fiscal year 2009 with a positive balance. MB SpA generated earnings of € 20 mill. from its business on the European market, with a 40–% share of its business, and the rest of the world, with a share of 60 %, as well as a business capital of € 400 000.
Following the inauguration of the new branch in Germany at the end of June 2009, the company, which already exports its products to more than 100 countries worldwide, is planning to develop other markets such as China, Brazil, India and the USA. In this connection, a move to new business premises in Fara Vicento is planned. Available there is a large storage area as well as automated production with the use of robots in a state-of-the-art technological process. This will enable the company to meet the requirements of the international market and to continue supplying high-quality products. In addition, the company has decided on further investment in research and development and a fixed presence at the key international events, e.g. bauma 2010 in Munich.
