CDE Global confirmed as finalist for bauma Innovation Award
Materials washing specialists, CDE Global has been confirmed as a finalist in the bauma Innovation Award in advance of the bauma exhibition in Munich/Germany. The bauma Innovation Award coincides with the show every 3 years and rewards companies and universities who have developed cutting edge technologies of high practical use to market readiness for the construction equipment, building materials and mining industries. “bauma is recognised as the leading global platform for launching new products to our industry and since 2013 we have been planning for the 2016 show”, explains Kevin Vallelly, Product Development Manager with CDE Global. “A number of product development cycles will conclude with new product launches at bauma as we further expand the range of equipment we offer the sand & aggregates, C&D waste recycling, mining and environmental sectors.”
CDE will be located on a 1200 m2 stand in Open Area North at the Messe Muenchen exhibition ground. “We will be displaying our latest modular wash plant set up in working position which will include a new feed arrangement, the latest incarnation of our M2500 mobile washing plant and an upgraded AggMax portable logwasher”, explains Kevin Vallelly. “Our stand will also include a number of new inclined screens from the Infinity range as well as a stand alone EvoWash sand washing plant with a number of patented elements and an exciting new screening system for fine screening applications.”
The patented Infinity screen range was initially launched early in 2014 with the development of a number of inclined screens. CDE has announced a significant expansion to the range which will be launched at bauma and will see the Infinity screen family include new horizontal sizing screens, grizzly screens, dewatering screen and fine sand screens for specialist applications in addition to the existing range of inclined screens. “The key advantage of the Infinity screen design is that it offers a stronger, lighter screen which requires significantly less power to run”, explains Neil Mullan, Senior Product Development Engineer at CDE Global and the project leader for the Infinity screening range. “Our patented trilogy side wall construction also eliminates welds from the construction which serves to maximise the life of the screen.”
“The Infinity screens have been an integral part of the M-Series mobile washing plants, R-Series primary screening units, EvoWash sand washing plants and AggMax portable logwasher for some time now”, explains Eoin Heron, CDE Regional Manager for Europe & Russia. “We will be using our attendance at bauma 2016 to promote the Infinity screens into the screen replacement market. The range has been tried and tested across a wide range of applications – sand & gravel, crushed rock, C&D waste recycling, silica sands, iron ore.”
Another area of focus for CDE at bauma 2016 will be their range of water treatment and recycling equipment as well as their sludge management systems. CDE will have an AquaCycle thickener and filter press display on the stand at bauma. “From the feed arrangement at the beginning of your washing plant to the filter press dealing with the sludge the stand at bauma will showcase the closed loop nature of the service we offer our customers”, explains Kevin Vallelly.
