Geha and Laverman join forces

On 8 August 2013 Geha and Laverman, two large companies in the field of wear engineering, decided in favour of an intensive cooperation (Fig.). This concentration of forces was the reason for the Swedish steel giant SSAB to acquire the controlling interest in this combination. Since both companies have a good reputation, the new company Geha Laverman will be additionally named “Hardox Wearparts Center”. Geha and Laverman supplied many similar products, which smoothly merged into one another. Due to this synergy Geha Laverman, now “Hardox Wearparts Center” offer a service from one source for all possible parts, which are subject to wear, in order to help the customer even better, more quickly and more efficiently. Now Geha Laverman is the largest of more than one hundred Hardox Wearparts Centers in 40 countries. The merger is part of the strategy to improve the market position of Hardox wear parts services in Europe.
