Positive fair results
The SCHAD FÖRDERELEMENTE GmbH & Co. KG Hungen (Hesse), a company specialized in the manufacture and sales of high-quality components for material handling, presented innovative products from their portfolio of handling equipment during the SOLIDS Dortmund 2014. Two products were in the focus of the fair presentation enjoying a special national and international demand.
The idler type “SEV” proved many times in practice received the internationally renowned ATEX certification. It will be a standard product in the SCHAD range of products and will already be certified by ATEX during the next few weeks with the designation “SEV-A”.
Another SCHAD product expansion concerns the in-house manufactured PU coating. This coating technology for idlers and pulleys has captured a growing market share as wear protection, in addition to hot and cold rubber coating. From now on, the corresponding finishing of the idler and belt components will take place in the modern new manufacturing facility in Hungen.
The members of the management Mario and Marco Schad stated that the SCHAD stand in hall 4 received a lot of visitors. The SOLIDS Dortmund coped very well with the demands made on it as a trade fair. The exclusively professional audience consisting of customers, suppliers and competitors offered the ideal background for specialist and advisory discussions. The SCHAD management evaluated the good visitor mix as convincing and motivating. 40 % of the visitors were old customers and 30 % each were new customers and suppliers. Based on the high degree of satisfaction shown by this evaluation, the SCHAD management also decided to take part again at the SOLIDS Dortmund in 2015.
