Hillhead launch pad for Telestack bulk-handling systems

Telestack, one of the specialists in the design, manufacture, installation and commissioning of mobile bulk material handling systems, will be using Hillhead for the global launch a number of new and innovative models, including the AggStack range – a series of mobile conveying systems designed to meet the needs of the quarry, aggregate, sand and gravel markets. On the stand will be the AggStack 36 x 140 radial telescopic conveyor.

Another recent development is an enhancement to the Telestack hopper feeder range. On display will be the LF520 and the brand new LF520 Radial. The LF (low feeder) range allows the operator to directly discharge from wheel loaders/grab cranes and excavators at a significantly lower feed-in height compared with standard hopper feeders. Moreover, the design of the hopper allows for rear feeding, which can be beneficial when operating in constrained areas. Telestack design and manufacture low feeders in a range of designs and hopper capacities to suit feed equipment and production rates on site.

Telestack will also be displaying the HF1021R from the Revolution series – a range of hopper feeders with a centre-mounted slew bearing that allows 360° rotation of the hopper and boom. Suitable for barge loading/unloading, rail loading/unloading and stockpiling, the parallel-travel feature allows the operator to manoeuvre the unit parallel to the vessel/wagon, enhancing loading rates and efficiency. The Revolution option is available on all HF/LF models.

Hillhead has always been a launch pad for new and innovative equipment and Telestack plan to use this year’s event to promote the Titan 450-6 static truck unloader. The Titan fixed bulk reception feeder range is designed primarily to handle aggregate, cement, biomass and other free-flowing materials.

Finally, in addition to two of Telestack’s core tracked conveyors (the TC420X and TC421R), a TCL431 tracked conveyor will also be on display. With a heavy-duty lattice design, the TCL range is designed to maximize stockpile volumes and has the ability to increase stockpile capacity by more than 82 %. The 31 m radial version can achieve capacities of up to 20 000 tonnes.
