19th Conference Belt Conveyors and their Elements

The upcoming 19th Conference Belt Conveyors and their Elements will take place from 15 to 16 March 2023 at the Haus der Technik in Essen. The established forum for European belt conveyor experts in construction and supply will offer participants once again an exciting programme with 14 lectures by well-known experts during 1,5 days, in parallel a product exhibition, a joint evening event and a guided technical excursion to Duisburg Port.

The opening lecture will cover: Foundation engineering techniques in mining, followed up by lectures on material handling concepts, IPPC, fully automated storage and handling terminal, tube belt conveyor system in open pit mine recultivation, current research on dust release and dust removal, cost reduction and sustainability for roller bearings and service management in belt conveyor operation. The lectures of day 2 cover topics like drum diameter dimensioning, remote monitoring of drum motors for belt conveyors, update of VDI-technical guidelines on bulk material handling, energy saving idlers, international auditing of conveyor belt systems and efficient belt checking.
