HAVER & BOECKER

The demands of the iron ore producers in Brazil were the primary impetus that propelled HAVER & BOECKER to become more intensively involved as a specialist in mineral processing. With the experience that comes from delivering more than 50 pelletising plates worldwide, HAVER & BOECKER will be showing for the first time at bauma 2010 in Munich the new 7.5 meter diameter pelletising plate which is adaptable to various operating conditions. Pelletising now has processing technology applications beyond the raw materials processing industry. In close cooperation with the HAVER & BOECKER, subsidiary company of Haver Engineering Meißen (HEM) engineers are also working on applying pelletising technology for processing by-products into materials that can be used, e.g. slurries from the washing of crushed stones. HAVER & BOECKER expertise extends from characterising the input material to laying out and engineering entire processing plants. The topic of pelletising will surely gain in importance in the future, especially with regards to environmental protection.
