Conversion to a mobile screen
Dosiertechnik GmbH has been awarded an order for the design and engineering of two screens for control screening aerated concrete. The screens are installed below the two silo discharges (Fig.). Control screening is performed on rectangular apertures crosswise to the direction of transport. The undersize (product) falls through the screening surface and at the end is fed to a mobile belt conveyor installed at a 90° angle to the screen’s direction of transport. The oversize remains on top of the screening surface and is thrown off at the side just before it reaches the end of the machine. The top part of the silo truck was completely open up by the customer so that it can be fed with a wheel loader. The mobile bin can be covered with a mobile cover made of corrugated sheeting. In the large company, the truck with the installed screens is driven to wherever needed to complete the necessary screening duties.
