FLSmidth appoints new vice-president
FLSmidth recently created a new position to assist in providing a more customer-focused model that will provide customized products and services to the minerals industries. Craig M. Sams (Fig.) was promoted to Vice President Global Product Groups with shared offices in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and Salt Lake City, Utah/USA. Sams has worked in the minerals industries for 36 years and brings a wealth of experience which will be utilized in overseeing all process products offered by FLSmidth, e.g. for crushing, grinding, classifying, thickening, clarifying, filtering, slurry handling, flotation, underground mining, pyroprocessing, material handling, and process controls. Sams will be overseeing and directing the majority of these equipment product lines and technologies to maximize efficiencies and assist customers in providing value to their operating plants with reliable and time-tested solutions from FLSmidth.
