Alstom introduces its largest high capacity roller mill

Alstom introduced its new Raymond® 120“ Roller Mill System (Fig.) designed to dry, pulverize, classify and deliver various types of materials with feed sizes ranging from 10-70 mm. This larger mill complements Alstom’s existing product line to address the growing need for limestone sorbent and solid fuel alternatives requiring greater milling capacity. The Raymond® 120“ Roller Mill is especially well suited for processing materials which are classified as 5 or less on the Mohs scale of hardness. It has the ability to produce a wide range of material sizes from granular to fine, for maximum flexibility. This mill controls power minimized product size and production quality. Some additional construction features that offer advantages to the customer include journal assembly, vertical shaft hub connection, trunnion bearings dual-o-ring, fabricated plow support and flange bearing for turbine classifier.
