Floating bucket ladder dredge KS 175

Around 20 years ago the first bucket ladder dredges supplied by Rohr to the company Mitteldeutsche Baustoffe went into operation. On 24 October 2012 a new bucket ladder dredge was handed over to the company at its Ditfurt gravel works (Fig.). In a small ceremony, Heinrich Luttmann, Operations Manager at the site, was symbolically presented with the key for the new machine. The KS 175 bucket ladder dredge is equipped with a frequency-controlled drive for the bucket ladder. The buckets used at a dredging depth of 20 m under water can each hold 175 l.
