Watt Drive appoints new Sales Manager

WEG has appointed René Binder as the new Sales Manager of their subsidiary Watt Drive with headquarters in Markt Piesting, Austria. Effective 1 January 2017, Binder is responsible for managing national and international sales, including field sales and inside sales, as well as worldwide export of the products and distribution through the global network of WEG branches. The task of integrating WEG’s broad motor and automation portfolio in the Austrian market into the sales structure of Watt Drive is also on his to-do list. Binder heads a team of about 20 sales staff in Austria and reports to Klaus Sirrenberg, Managing Director of Watt Drive. He succeeds Markus Weber, who assumes responsibility for WEG standard motor sales in Austria. René Binder has over 25 years of international sales experience and is very familiar with drive technology as well as Watt Drive.
