Together with Fischer-Jung, their largest sales partner in Germany, Metso Minerals will have a joint stand at the steinexpo. Since the early summer, Fischer-Jung has been responsible for the entire remaining part of Germany, i.e. except Saarland and parts of the Rhineland-Palatinate that are covered by Metso’s sales partner HSB GmbH with headquarters in Ensdorf and Schweich.
On an area of about 1100 m², Metso Minerals and Fischer-Jung will jointly present a mobile unit for the processing of hard rock. There a jaw crusher, type Lokotrack LT106, will process basalt of up to 600 mm in the first crushing stage and then will then feed a mobile gyratory crusher, type Lokotrack LT200HP, which produces the finished product with grain sizes of up to 0/56 or 0/45 mm. The focus is on the high quality of the finished product as well as the economic operation of the plant. With this combined equipment they wish to demonstrate that higher throughputs, better product qualities and different fields of use (most different feed materials such as sand/gravel, limestone, basalt) can thus be achieved in a very simple way. In addition to the Lokotrack LT200HP, the “small brother” – the HP100 – will also be shown at the exhibition.
The stationary jaw crusher C130 is also well-suited for the processing of hard rock. It is also suitable for numerous other applications due to the optimum interaction of stroke, crusher speed and centrifugal mass.
A trouble-free quarry and recycling operation also requires a mobile primary screen, such as the Lokotrack St2.4. The operators benefit from the possibilities of quick commissioning, low fuel consumption, easy and safe maintenance as well as quick replacement of the screen surface. With the high quality of this machine, its manufacturer proves that he knows well the operational procedures in these fast-moving times.
Metso will also present a roll crusher, type HRC800, with permanently high crushing qualities as a further fair highlight for the first time in Germany (Fig.). The HRC is ideal for high tonnages, hard rock and can be used as a tertiary, four-material or flint crusher. At present, various HRC plants are running worldwide. As regards hard rock, they can be used for diamonds, iron ore, copper, gold, platinum and various industrial minerals. The patented arched frame from Metso ensures a uniform gap over the width of the tyres and, consequently, limits the off-line running that may lead to downtimes during mining operations. Visitors to the steinexpo will see how an excellent grain shape can be achieved with this plant, what the energy balance is like and how the grinding lining can be replaced.
