The employees of Metso Outotec Germany GmbH mourn the loss of their long-time employee Mr. Thorsten Stellmacher, who passed away unexpectedly at the age of only 58. The management, the works council and the colleagues of Metso Outotec Germany pay tribute to the merits of Thorsten Stellmacher. With his passion and expertise, as well as his humanity, Thorsten Stellmacher left a great mark on the crushing and screening industry and consequently always represented Metso Outotec Germany to the outside world in an exemplary manner and also left his mark on his sector. Thorsten Stellmacher always had a sympathetic ear for his colleagues and his customers. It is with great sorow that we bid him farewell. Our deepest sympathy goes to his entire family, with whom we are united in these difficult hours. Thorsten Stellmacher will be greatly missed. His death is a great loss for us all.

Thorsten Stellmacher joined one of the predecessor companies (Nordberg) of today’s Metso Outotec Germany GmbH in 1992. After initially working in sales for wear and spare parts, he soon switched to sales for crushing and screening machines and held several responsible positions here. From the position as Regional Sales Manager Central/North, to Divisional Sales Manager for crushers and screens, to Sales Manager Processing Technology in 2013. After leaving the company in 2013, Thorsten Stellmacher returned to the former Metso Germany in 2018 as Sales Manager North/East Germany. He showed himself to be a specialist in crushing and screening technology at all of his stations here and shaped his special areas with his expertise and decisions.
