Simon Staufer is a proven expert in the field of plant engineering and environmental technology. His professional career began after graduating in mechanical and process engineering from ETH Zurich. He started as a project manager at W. Kunz dry-Tec AG (SwissCombi), where he eventually rose to become CEO. He then moved to Bucher Unipektin (part of the Bucher Industries Group) to become director of several subsidiaries abroad. Most recently, he moved to Neustark, where he made a significant contribution to the further development of business strategies. Thanks to his extensive experience in the circular economy and his proven leadership skills, he is ideally prepared to lead ASE Technik AG into a new era. “It is a great honor and at the same time an exciting challenge to take over the management of ASE Technik AG. I am convinced that, together with the company’s highly qualified team, we will be able to further strengthen our market position and expand our technological leadership,” says Simon Staufer about his new position.

Michel Kleisli is handing over his position as Managing Director of ASE Technik AG, but will remain with the company in the area of market expansion and as CEO of ASE Technik. He commented on this step: “I look back with pride on our successes at ASE Technik AG and am now pleased to hand over the helm to Simon Staufer. Due to his extensive experience and professional expertise, I am convinced that he will lead the company successfully into the future. At the same time, I will continue to actively drive forward the expansion of our market.”
