Anglo American awards Metso

During the past year, Metso has received several important recognitions for its safety management of maintenance operations at its Los Bronces Division in Chile. The latest, Major Commitment to Safety – Los Bronces Operation award was presented at the Anglo American Chile's Annual Meeting of Safety and Occupational Health (Managers) in December 2017. The "Major Commitment to Safety" award honors company that promotes projects and activities that (significantly) improve safety performance at the operation.   
2017 has been a remarkably successful year for Metso in terms of safety management activities conducted at Los Bronces. During last year, Metso received several important awards that underline the excellent performance of the Life-cycle Services team dedicated to the operations. These recognitions include the Award for Operational Continuity related to the removal of uncrushable materials, Award for Risk Management at Work and the Award for Safety Management. Furthermore, Metso was also recognized for safety management at the Planta Las Tórtolas operation. Safety management plays a key role in Metso's Life cycle and maintenance services.
