B&D Process Equipment B.V. with sites in Rotterdam and Mülheim on the River Ruhr designs, engineers and supplies plants and equipment for processing sand and gravel, building rubble, harbour sludge or contaminated soils. Focus of the company’s activities is the engineering of modern processing plants with a specially developed automated control system for the production of specific “sand blends”. With this technology, the sand deposits are utilized efficiently and independent of any variations in the raw material. The patented “in-line blending” enables the production of different sand products based on the addition of individual fractions. The company’s positive business development in recent years made it necessary to increase capacity in terms of human resources as well as with regard to warehousing and assembly facilities. For this reason, on 01.08.2009 B&D Process Equipment moved into bigger, new facilities and has also recruited further qualified employees to join its team.
