Groundbreaking ceremon
On 14.07.2009 Ludger Wissing, Managing Director of the company Pfreundt Wägesysteme, and authorized company officer Anja Schemmick were joined by Südlohn‘s Mayor Georg Beckmann, Architect Franz-Josef Hölker and the building contractors Wolfgang Hoffschlag and Heiner Temmink to symbolically break the ground (Fig.) for the construction of a new office building with warehouse, workshop, training and seminar facilities. Pfreundt GmbH’s company building erected in 1986 has been extended and modernized several times. No further extension to the building was possible. The company aims to move into new building with a total useful area of around 1 950 m² by the end of 2010 at the latest. A spacious vehicle depot will enable the installation of weighing systems in machines and lorries with appropriate calibration directly at customer premises. The fleet was already extended at the beginning of 2009 so that a total of four calibration trucks can perform on-site calibrations at customer premises.
