To kick off the information-packed days, a political evening kick-off in the form of a professionally moderated podium discussion is planned after the success of 2018. Under the headline: "Domestic mineral raw materials – indispensable as a basis for housing, mobility and industrial production", resource experts, business representatives and parliamentarians of various parliamentary groups in the German Bundestag present and discuss their positions and goals regarding the status of domestic mineral raw materials in the Federal Government's raw materials policy.
Besides the welcome by MIRO President Dr. Ing. Gerd Hagenguth and a political greeting from the Federal Ministry of the Interior, for construction and home, the opening part involves an exciting lecture by Leon Klein, which offers a look at the topics IT security and cybercrime with particular relevance in the extractive industry and recommends effective protection mechanisms.
The subsequent parallel sessions in the workshop format tackle each important issues of the industry concerning securing raw materials, alternative building materials, approval procedures and raw material extraction in the context of fiscal levies. In addition, the use of alternative energies and innovative technical solutions will play a special role this year. The latter, in particular, are gaining in importance for the processing of hitherto poorly recoverable raw material shares, which are not technically usable. Tips on corporate management and personnel management and a comprehensive trade exhibition complete the wide range.
