ABMEC (The British Mining Trade Association) welcomed as new member Liberty Mining Consultants (UK) Ltd, who provides strategic improvement steps in a manner that is unique for the mining industry. With mining intrinsically linked to both the economy and production on a global scale, efficient mines are not just a luxury but necessity. Liberty Mining Consultants (UK) Ltd uses its extensive experience to help clients accelerate their productivity, profitability and safety. Liberty’s team offers over 250 years of combined mining experience in management, engineering, safety, production and maintenance. Jane Isaacs, Director General, ABMEC stated “Tom McClain is well-known in the global mining industry, mainly for his experience with room and pillar mining using continuous miners. It’s great that he is part of the British mining supply chain, and we look forward to working with him and his team.”

ABMEC (The British Mining Trade Association) welcomed also as new member Nexdorf Electrical, one of the UK's leading providers of electrical engineering. Jane Isaacs, Director General, ABMEC said she was particularly pleased to see John Heritage and his team at Nexdorf Electrical join ABMEC as he is familiar with the association and knew the benefits membership can offer.
