Gebr. Pfeiffer sells another gypsum calcining mill to Indonesia
Another customer could be convinced of the many advantages of Gebr. Pfeiffer’s vertical roller mills with integrated gypsum calcination: PT Siam-Indo Gypsum Industry has ordered an MPS 180 GC for its plant in Bekasi in Indonesia. The company will soon be able to grind, dry, classify and calcine its gypsum in just one machine. At the contracting stage, Gebr. Pfeiffer was again able to score with its concepts, which are backed by many years of experience in gypsum processing. The countless gypsum calcining mills, which are operating successfully the world over, did the rest.
PT Siam-Indo Gypsum Industry is a joint venture between Siam Cement Group, Thailand, and Wings Group, Indonesia. Wings is one of the largest Indonesian manufacturers of soap and other household articles, such as detergents. The mill with a total drive power of 210 kW will produce 40 t/h of finished product at a fineness of 0.5 % R 100 µm. Commissioning of the mill is scheduled for autumn 2020.
