GKD – Gebr. Kufferath AG

GKD – Gebr. Kufferath AG will be represented at the IFAT ENTSORGA 2010 in Munich with two business lines. The business line WEAVE IN MOTION will present a highly efficient process technology for sewage sludge drying with proven standards and optimized specialities. For the first time they will also show the innovative PAD joint – a particularly durable further development of the conventional clamping joint.

The business line GKD-COMPACT FILTRATION, a system supplier of filtration plants and plant engineering, will be represented with the patented MAXFLOW concept (Fig.), which combines filtration and briquetting in one plant. The compact filter system is the result of the competence in filter materials acquired over decades combined with innovative process engineering. In various applications the system makes it possible to separate solid particles from water and wastewater up to the micro-filtration range without adding filtration aids. The MAXFLOW system, a customer-specific complete system, can be flexibly adjusted to many general conditions and can be used as a space saving central system that can be adjusted and extended as needed. Easy and comfortable operation as well as the possibility of modular extension, if necessary, with filling system, are features of this solution. The waste volume is reduced to a minimum due to the discharge of dry and homogenous briquettes. Thus, the disposal costs are

also reduced

significantly.
