Nara Machinery will present the further development of the super fine mill MICROS for the first time at the POWTECH trade fair in Nuremberg. The improved and compacted design also enables cost reductions in the manufacturing process. In contrast to a ball mill, where the grinder is indirectly moved by rotation of the container or by a stirrer, here the grinder is driven directly by a powerful electric motor. As a result, the new MICROS processes suspensions with high viscosity and high solids content. Wet milling of particles down to the submicrometer range is used especially in the food and ceramics industries.
In addition, Nara Machinery will present further technical solutions from the product portfolio at POWTECH, including the Nara Hybridization System (NHS), the paddle dryer (NPD), the suspension dryer (MSD) and the high-capacity mill RUBATO, launched in 2018. Nara Machinery provides a wide range of test equipment for the application fields of shredding, drying, heating, cooling, mixing, granulation and surface optimization at the Frechen site.
Features of the MICROS at a glance:
Compacted and space-saving design
Processing of suspensions with high viscosity and high solids content possible
Wet grinding of particles to submicrometer size
Grinder with direct drive
