Dear Readers,

The Helmholtz-Institute Freiberg for Resource Technology (HIF) stands for the development of innovative technology with the aim of securing the supply of the German economy with strategically important metalliferous raw materials, such as rare earth elements. The department of “Processing“ at the HIF deals the optimization of classical flotation techniques, amongst other things. Learn more about the different flotation processes and their areas of application in the article “A fine future – Flotation in times of circular economy and energy transition“.

The SOLIDS Dortmund casts its shadows before: together with the RECYCLING-TECHNIK, more than 500 exhibitors will present themselves in 4 exhibition halls, where over 7000 visitors are expected. Moreover, a comprehensive framework program has been organized. In short interviews, various exhibitors will provide an insight into the product highlights they are going to present in the exhibition halls in Dortmund from November 7 to 8, 2018, and talk about their expectations of the exhibition.
