Rockster scores points with live demos and innovations

A gainst the backdrop of Europe’s biggest quarry at this
year’s steinexpo, Rockster Recycler presented the latest R1100DS mobile impact crusher with fully hydraulic gap adjustment, attracting lively interest from trade fair visitors. The protected, double-function return and stockpiling belt (registered under AT13222), was fitted for the first time in Rockster‘s largest impact crusher and, as already with the R700S, increases flexibility with the production of more than one product size. Thanks to the DUPLEX concept developed by Rockster, this machine can be easily converted from an impact to a jaw crusher. The crusher is being shipped direct from the trade fair to the USA.

Rockster‘s After Sales Manager Lössl explains: „With the new display, already on the start screen an option is available to choose one from three presettings, which can be optimized in advance to meet various requirements, e.g. for asphalt, building rubble or natural rock. In addition, the machine is started up in no time with the new quickstart system. On „Prestart“ the crusher and belts start up and on „Autostart“ the speed is increased and the entire crusher including the vibration plate is switched to the operating mode.” This means the crusher is ready for operation within a very short time, and with the crusher presetting it can be individually adapted to the most common applications (Fig.). Easy operation is further facilitated by the fully hydraulic and infinite adjustment of the crushing gap via this new display.

Rockster also used the opportunity to present its R700S impact crusher and the RS EASY 76 compact screen and not only looked good in action with asphalt with regard to performance but also product quality. The R700S with screen box and return/stockpiling belt plays out its strengths especially in space-confined construction sites. With 19.3 t weight, it is easy to transport, but it is very powerful despite its compactness. Equipped with a screening system, it can produce a perfectly defined product grain, something the visitors to the trade fair were able to convince themselves of. The return belt used for this can also be used as a stockpiling belt, which enables the user to produce another final grain size in one pass.
