Live-demonstration of the Rockster crushers in front of an impressive scenery

At this year’s steinexpo, Rockster demonstrates its latest impact crusher, the R1100DS, with several new developments which ensure, in particular the flexibility and quick operational readiness, as well as Rockster’s most compact impact crusher, the R700S weighing only 20-tons.

Both exhibited crushing plants can be supplemented with a screening system consisting of screen box and return belt. With the unique dual-function of the return system, you can use the return belt also as discharge conveyor (Fig. 1). Disassembling for transport is not necessary, which mainly reduces set-up times. By the use of screen box and return belt you can produce especially accurate final grain and easily meet requirements of a defined screening curve.

With the recently developed multifunction display which can be tested by the visitors of the steinexpo-show, the crushing gap can be adjusted fully hydraulically and continuously, so the final material can be defined simply and easily and thus an exact screening curve is guaranteed. The conveying velocity is continuously adapted by the crusher load and the operating pressure, which prevents overload and downtimes. If necessary, the vibrating feeder can also be controlled manually via the remote control.

For the first time Rockster will present its brand new 3D animation (Fig. 2) at the steinexpo. It shows Rockster’s new impactor R1100DS with and without screen box on various construction sites crushing a great variety of materials such as concrete, asphalt, limestone or granite. Rockster also illustrates thus the helpful overload protection and the ease of adjusting the bypass chute for directing the pre-screened material easily to the side or the main conveyor. It is also visualized how simple the gap adjustment can be controlled and optimized with the multifunction display and how fast the grading curve can be adjusted by changing the crusher speed. Another highlight of the animation is the duplex change, the impact crusher R1100DS is changed to the jaw crusher R1200 in a short time and then used for granite processing.
