STEP Oiltools, a subsidiary of Aker Solutions and an independent provider of Drilling Waste Management products and services, headquartered in the Netherlands, announces the establishing of 3 new office locations in Europe. The offices opened are in Stavanger/Norway, Aberdeen/United Kingdom and Bad Fallingbostel/Germany. The primary objectives of the offices in Norway and the UK is to serve the offshore oil and gas drilling market in the North Sea, while German operation will cater to onshore drilling activities, both oil and gas and civil in Continental Europe. The companies will also serve as exclusive distributors throughout the region of Derrick Equipment Company and its range of solids control equipment and consumables. This agreement was previously held by a different subsidiary of Step Oiltools’ parent company, Aker Solutions.

From the smallest component up to a complete large scale installation – the company is able to supply everything required for solids control. Manufacturing and maintenance work is carried out rapidly and thoroughly on the company’s own premises. A comprehensive warehousing enables to supply spare parts and consumables promptly. Every appliance and system has been designed and constructed following up-to-date technical procedure criteria. The operator friendly appliances and systems insure low maintenance, efficiency and are extremely robust. This quality product has a name: Derrick Equipment Company. Step Oiltools GmbH is the European distributor of this company. The appliances prove quality and safety according to the international standards of DIN EN ISO 9001 and SCC.
