Scrapers in series production

For one year, HOSCH Fördertechnik GmbH exhaustively tested its latest development, the HD scraper (Fig.). Now the world’s first scraper with unique deflection function, which – installed at the three o’clock position on the head pulley – ensures efficient conveyor belt cleaning even in the most difficult conditions. A crucial part in the development of the new technology was played by HOSCH’s subsidiary in South Africa. The special feature of the new pulley scraper are the durable carbide blade tips, which reduce the maintenance costs and at the same time guarantee highly efficient cleaning long-term. In addition, single spring-loaded modules with an individual wear-tracking function compensate for any unevenness of the belt – and that at belt speeds up to 7.5 m/s and belt widths up to 3.2 m. The HD scraper can even be used on clipped belt splices at belt speeds up to 3.5 m/s.
