From 9 to 11 November 2011, the traditional annual conference “Mineral Processing and Recycling” once again took place in the auditorium of the Founder and Innovation Centre, Freiberg (Gründer- und Innovationszentrum ­Freiberg – GIZEF). The organizer was the Freiberg-based Process Engineering Society (Gesellschaft für Verfahrenstechnik UVR-FIA e.V.
