Haus der Technik is – after having to skip the renowned industrial tour on the afternoon of the 2nd day for COVID 19-reasons – in the lucky situation to be able to extend the range of the annual conference by additional international lectures: The schedule provides 16 lectures with insights from China, Russia and lectures from Italy, USA und Australia.
Dr. Yun Schüler-Zhou as the keynote speaker from Deutsche Rohstoffagentur, Berlin will give an important review about Chinas influence on the international raw materials market.
Expert lectures by Artel.Pro, Bedeschi Group S.P.A./Italy, ESI Engineering System International GmbH, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Frank Will from TU Dresden, ALFA Development GmbH, Lutze Group, thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions/USA, Sempertrans Office-Germany, REMA TIP TOP/Australia, Schade Lagertechnik GmbH, MTS Messtechnik Sauerland GmbH, RWE Technology International, Schulte Strathaus GmbH & Co. KG and Martin Engineering will offer insights into Sibirian belt conveyor operation challenges, basics of efficient belt conveyor design for inaccessible areas, development and use of digital twins and a current overview about VDI-Guidelines on conveyor-technology.
Belt loading and integrated weighing technology are topics as well as “What does glass have in common with rubber?” and “Wear protection of belt conveyor elements” and best practices for belt splicing and belt joints. The two lectures “Rail-Running Conveyors: Economic Case Studies of a Disruptive New Belt-Conveying Technology” and “Delivering BHP’s South Flank – Australia’s biggest iron ore mining project” are focusing on Australian mines.
