Acquisition by Artexis Easyfairs in the Netherlands

Artexis Easyfairs, a trade show organizer and operator of event centres with headquarters in Brussels, is clearly extending its portfolio. The company acquired the Dutch specialist Evenementenhal, which organizes 78 events at three locations in the Netherlands every year. Due to this acquisition, the portfolio of Artexis Easyfairs now comprises 11 fair centres (exhibition area of 240 000 m²) and more than 200 events.

“Evenementenhal fits perfectly into our business model for two reasons. On the one hand Evenementenhal is one of the leading Dutch organizers. Artexis Easyfairs already has an excellent reputation and a strong presence in the Benelux Countries. On the other hand, the Evenementenhal trade shows are based on a very successful ‘All-In’ concept”, said Eric Everard, founder and CEO of Artexis Easyfairs. He added: “The acquisition of Evenementenhal lifts us to a higher level that will further strengthen our perception in the market as one of the leading fair, event and conference companies worldwide.”
