Before the “season” of conferences, fairs and congresses starts again, the editorial board of AT MINERAL PROCESSING used the time to report on interesting company projects. Last year in autumn we visited the new technology centre of Siebtechnik GmbH. The many centrifuge casings arranged neatly in a row were particularly impressive. They were waiting for the final mounting (from p. 28). And since we were there, we also took the opportunity to visit the new administration and office building, which had been designed according to the latest aspects of workplace configuration offering many inviting meeting points for the exchange of ideas.

Towards the end of the year there was another highlight, i.e. Rhewum GmbH opened their new pilot plant with, amongst other things, unitized test stands for wet and dry screening so that tests can be adapted very flexibly to the many possible materials to be screened. In the future the pilot plant will also be used for the development of new products and plants. The development of the FlowChecker has already been finished (from p. 40). In addition, Rhewum offers an app free of charge for the quick mobile check of screening plants and for the characterization of bulk solids.
