Malvern to showcase new products
at ACHEMA 2015

The presentation of Malvern at Achema 2015 will focus on the field of industrial and process monitoring including particle analysis and rheology from the laboratory to online as well as on the life science sector with new products for the characterization of molecules and proteins. A special aspect will be the cooperation between Malvern and NETZSCH Feinmahltechnik GmbH.

The Insitec laser diffraction system, which delivers online continuous particle sizing, will be on display on the NETZSCH stand in Hall 6, B6. The direct connection to a mill makes the benefit of the online technology clear. An expert from Malvern will be there to explain the efficient process and product development as well as the process monitoring by means of the online measuring technique. The cooperation between NETZSCH Feinmahltechnik and Malvern allows both companies’ customers to benefit from their expertise.  The life science sector presented at the Malvern stand for laboratory instruments in Hall 4, D59, will focus on the recently launched products MicroCal PEAQ-ITC (Fig.), automated systems that offer robust performance and enhanced functionality for the study of biomolecular interactions, the new Viscosizer TD for automated ultra low particle and molecular sizing via Taylor Dispersion Analysis as well as the OmniSEC, a fully integrated, easy-to-use, multi-detector GPC/SEC system with high sensitivity to determine the molecular weight, the molecular weight distribution, the size and structure of proteins as well as natural and synthetic polymers. Besides other products in the field of particle analysis, Malvern will also present the latest platform of material characterizing systems, such as the Kinexus rotational rheometer and the Mastersizer 3000 with Hydro Sight.
