Optimization of roller screen plants

N‌o other technology can be used to separate and clean such large rocks from fine material. A decisive development here - the roller grate plants from Schmidt-Posch Mining GmbH are now electrically driven. This offers enormous advantages as one is much more flexible.

The shafts can run steplessly at completely different speeds and can be rotated both forwards and backwards, with overload being detected automatically. This gives you the intelligent roller grate that reacts to every rock and cleans it optimally.

The customer has the option to choose how many steps the roller grate should have. With each step, the material falls down, rearranges itself and is thus cleaned better. Each stage is driven separately, frequency-controlled, is infinitely variable and is controlled by software developed by Schmidt-Posch Mining GmbH. This makes it possible to control each stage independently of the others. The plants can be set and programmed to 5 individual programs, which are adapted to each rock deposit. The plant operator is thus able to control them by remote control during operation.

The start-up of the plant under full load is completely unproblematic. The power supply is provided by an on-board diesel power unit, with a diesel consumption of approx. 10 – 12 l/h. In addition, the plant can also be operated via a “plug-in” power supply.

Variable screening thanks to continuously adjustable separation cut

Schmidt-Posch Mining GmbH has developed a roller screen plant that allows the separation grain to be changed with minimal effort. This is achieved by 2 different roller grate modules on one plant. As primary roller grate a heavy robust design is used with a fixed separating grain e.g. 100 mm and a very large feeding possibility of stones up to 1800 mm. The fine material is screened again via the secondary roller grate and here the customer can adjust the separating grain continuously.
