The use of glass recovered from old glass fragments (“cullet”) not only economises on natural resources, but also, and above all, on energy. In this respect glass is a very valuable raw material, which is also used, among other things, to produce high-quality foamglass products. You find more information in the article from p. 50. In one of the largest copper ore mines in the world, crushed copper ore has been transported by a Takraf conveyor system from underground to the surface processing plant since last year. The modern, powerful and at the same time environmentally friendly conveyor system is characterised by high system availability, minimal system wear and easy maintenance of components.
