Another Gebr. Pfeiffer order for Libya

Gebr. Pfeiffer is expanding its presence in Libya with a contract for a raw mill. It is an MVR 3750 R-4 mill.

The client is Al-Bareeq Al-Awal, a company specialising in the manufacture and distribution of building materials, refractory bricks, cement and cement products, which supplies the entire Libyan market.

The raw mill is equipped with an SLS 3750 VR classifier of the latest design and grinds 275 t/h of cement raw material to a fineness of 10 % residue on 0.090 mm. At the same time, the cement raw material is dried from a feed moisture content of approx. 8.4 % to a residual moisture of less than 1 %. 2350 kW are installed on the mill drive.

The contract is being handled by the Chinese general contractor Chengdu Design Institute.

The commissioning of the MVR mill is planned for the second half of 2027.
