Mining is critically important to Africa as a whole, and especially to Southern Africa. The continent holds a substantial portion of the world’s mineral reserves, including more than half of the global supply of gold, platinum group metals, cobalt, and diamonds.
The XXXII International Mineral Processing Congress in Cape Town, South Africa, from 18 to 22 October 2026, aims to bring together industry leaders, researchers, and experts to
- share the latest advancements in mineral processing
- facilitate knowledge exchange and technology transfer
- promote innovation and sustainable practices in the mining industry
- foster collaboration and networking among global professional
