With a maximum speed of 800 rpm, the PM 300 generates extremely high size reduction energy, allowing for rapid sample pulverization down to the nanometer range. The compact benchtop unit accommodates up to 4 stackable grinding jars and processes up to 440 ml sample material in one working run, which is significantly more than is possible with any other benchtop unit.

Operation of this planetary ball mill is particularly safe. The robust Safety Slider ensures that the mill cannot be started before the grinding jar is securely fixed with the help of the ergonomic clamping unit. A unique safety feature of the PM 300 is an acoustic signal and notification in the display when the clamping unit has been fixed with the required force of 25 Nm. RETSCH offers a convenient clamping aid to facilitate the process.

The PM 300 is operated with the new EasyFit jar line. The Advanced Anti-Twist functionality guarantees secure fixing of the grinding jar. The modified geometry of the 50 ml and 250 ml jars helps to accelerate achievement of the desired grind size.
