Hyundai prepares for further product expansion in 2026
05.02.2026Hyundai Construction Equipment will launch a host of new and updated machinery in the coming year, further broadening its product line-up and increasing its penetration into new market sectors. The company will expand its aftersales and service offer, launching a new spare parts line and boosting customer service solutions.
For the second year in a row, Hyundai will unveil multiple equipment innovations in 2026, led by the Next Generation line of crawler excavators. Initially launched at the Bauma exhibition in April 2025, with the unveiling of the HX360L and HX400L, the Next Generation line-up has already captured the imagination of customers across Europe.

The Next Generation machines are the first to be powered by Hyundai’s own award-winning series of Stage V diesel engines. As well as providing improved power and torque, maintenance intervals have been extended, cutting operating costs for customers, with engine oil changes now due at up to 1000 hours in some models.
The crawler machines are also the first from Hyundai to feature full electro-hydraulic (FEH) controls. Rather than using hydraulic pilot controls, the machines use electrical signals from the levers in the cab to control the hydraulic system. This reduces response time and boosts precision, while allowing operators to fine tune each control to meet their individual requirements.
There is much more to come, as the line-up will continue to expand over the coming months, with the much-anticipated HX230L the first to arrive at the Conexpo exhibition in Las Vegas in March.
At the opposite end of the weight scale, there will also be an additional model in the popular A-Series compact excavator line-up, below the existing mini excavator range. The first models in a new range of skid steer will make their debut in Europe in 2026 too.
Announced at bauma in 2025, the HS80V, HS120V and HT100V compact loaders weigh in at 3.4, 3.8 and 4.3-tonnes respectively. Already proven in the US market, these machines are powered by EU Stage V diesel engines and they offer a vertical lift path loader arm design. Tilting cabs allow easy access to driveline components for service and repair.
Elsewhere in the Hyundai range, a second dedicated demolition model above the HX400L will be offered with special equipment and booms to suit demolition contractor demands. Earthmoving, quarrying and civil engineering customers will welcome the launch of a new heavy articulated dump truck model, while Hyundai’s hydraulic breaker range will also benefit from additional hammers, broadening its appeal with compact and full-size excavator customers.
Alongside this expansion of the machinery line-up, that will see Hyundai continue to move into new market segments, the company will further develop its aftersales business, extending its ProCare service solution range to benefit a broader spread of customers. In particular, Hyundai will work with customers operating older machinery, providing additional support after warranty.
Hyundai celebrated a strong year in 2025, with the opening of the company’s new smart factory facility in Ulsan, South Korea. The business broadened its appeal from a mainly wheel loader and excavator manufacturer, to launch materials handlers, dozers, skid steers and multiple innovative technologies, both for today and for tomorrow’s markets.
Despite a difficult economic outlook over the last few years, construction equipment sales across Europe are expected to strengthen over the coming months, with steady growth in housebuilding, infrastructure and data centre construction pushing the demand for machinery. Hyundai Construction Equipment is ideally placed to benefit from any upturn in demand, with a new range of premium excavators and a broadening of its product line into new industry sectors.
