Dolomite grinding in the Ukraine
Summary: In summer 2009 a vertical roller mill, type LM 15.2, was successfully commissioned for dolomite grinding in the Ukraine. This compact mill was set up at Ternopolsky Karyer in Ternopol/Ukraine. It was ordered by OJSC Nadrabudinvest,
a Ukrainian company with a product range covering sugar, building materials and fertilizers.
1 The Ukrainian mineral industry
The Ukraine is one of the countries in the world richest in natural resources. In the opinion of experts, this country has about 5 % of the mineral deposits of the world. So far more than 7700 deposits of roughly 90 different minerals have been prospected in the Ukraine. Today about half of these deposits are used economically.
