FRUTIGER Company AG with a world first at the bauma 2016
This year the Swiss FRUTIGER Company AG already took part at the bauma in Munich for the 16th time. The company presented MobyDick® ONE, the new standard for tailormade wheel washing, as well as a wide range of modern dust control solutions.
The highlight at the FRUTIGER stand was the worlds first MobyDick® ONE. Due to the innovative design including the proven range of optionally usable accessories, now further functions are possible to increase the cleaning effect and to sustainably solve the problem of the polluted public roads caused by construction- and other vehicles. This is due to a great extend to the increased standard lengths of up to 20 m. However, also the changed treads and nozzle position, the innovation of the always exchangeable modular lateral and bottom nozzles as well as the flow-optimized geometry of the washing modules developed in cooperation with the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETHZ) were convincing. Now it is possible that also crawler vehicles can be washed in the system.
In addition to the tyre washing solutions, the modern MobyDick® Dick Dust Control Cannons were also exciting. Only a quick glance from the many building experts was sufficient to see that a MobyDick® Dust Control Cannon is not another converted snow cannons, but a completely new machine developed for the harsh everyday life at building sites. In addition to the easy operation and a high mobility, not least the patented rust-free cone of composite fibre is also convincing, which can be shaped aerodynamically due to its high-quality condition ensuring an optimum spray mist trajectory with low energy consumption and low noise emissions. A high-quality Gundfos pump generates a pressure of up to 22 bars with the types 30/50/60/70 to spray a particularly high number of very small droplets with low water consumption. Everything is mounted on a galvanized frame and is packed into a rugged and easily accessible casing.
After seven successful fair days, the company expresses its thanks to the many visitors and is already looking forward to meeting again in Munich at the IFAT in hall B2, stand 228.
