New management for the business line “industrial compressed air”

On 1 September 2016 Rainer Cordes (2016) took over the position of manager of the business line “industrial compressed air” of the Essen-based Atlas Copco Kompressoren und Drucklufttechnik GmbH. He succeeds Jürgen Wisse who took over another position in the company. The business line ‘industrial compressed air’ of Atlas Copco develops, manufactures and markets oil-injected and oil-free compressors as well as equipment for compressed-air processing for industry and trade. Rainer Cordes is a certified engineer of mechanical engineering as well as certified commercial engineer and has been working with Atlas Copco since 1999. Previously he was sales engineer for the vehicle business. In this business line he was responsible for industrial tools and assembly systems in the northern region of the Essen-based Atlas Copco Central Europe GmbH.
