Proteus – a revolutionary screening machine

SWECO, an M-I L.L.C division will present a new product at the POWTECH 2014, which will revolutionize the whole industry. The SWECO screening machine, Proteus (Fig.), is capable of changing its movement without requiring the machine to be turned off. All settings are electrically controlled thus the need for manual weight adjustments is eliminated. Proteus can be started and shut down without resonance; moreover it causes very gentle and controlled starting and stopping processes.

The Proteus screening machine can be adjusted by pressing a few buttons, which allows the optimum control of efficiency and capacity. Speed, acceleration, material dwell time and amplitudes can be controlled and integrated into the customer’s process. For a change of process conditions, the machine can be completely controlled, monitored and optimized. Apart from its extraordinary features, the Proteus screening machine provides its users higher efficiency and capacity, longer screen lives, easy maintenance and comfortable access to the motors and much more.
