Dear readers,

it‘s that time again: POWTECH TECHNOPHARM kicks off in Nuremberg on September 23. Visitors will have three days to learn about technologies for processing powders, solids, and liquids in Europe. At the same time, experts will gather for the PARTEC Congress, the International Congress on Particle Technology. Scientific research results, the latest developments from practice, and current trends will be presented and discussed. The congress sees itself as a meeting place for scientists and engineers as well as specialists who deal with solutions in areas such as particle formation, agglomeration and coating processes, and diverse industrial applications for particles. Many of our authors and advertising customers will also be there, and we look forward to interesting discussions. If you would like to find out more in advance, a number of exhibitors present their highlights from page 18.

Now that the summer break is over, there are some interesting trade fairs and conferences coming up. RecyclingAktiv & TiefbauLIVE will take place in Karlsruhe in October. This is an interesting event for anyone involved in construction waste recycling and secondary mineral raw materials.

There are also interesting events in November. The “Aufbereitung und Recycling” (Processing and Recycling) conference will take place on November 6 – 7. This event focuses primarily on mineral raw materials and recyclable materials from waste. And at the end of the month, the German rock industry event ForumMIRO will take place in Berlin. This is where experts and executives from the gravel, sand, quartz sand, and natural stone industries meet with representatives from politics, administration, science, and business to discuss current economic and political issues.
