The Wave of Changes in Processing and Recycling

The XV Balkan Mineral Processing Congress “The Wave of Changes in Processing and Recycling” (BMPC) to be held in Sozopol/Bulgaria, June 12–16, 2013 and offers an unique possibility for all participants to exchange experience in the field of mineral processing industry and recycling. The congress is addressed to all academic and research professionals, production company representatives, engineering and supplier companies from the mineral processing industry and recycling. About 300 to 400 delegates are expected to attend. This event also celebrates forty years of BMPC in Bulgaria. The XV BMPC is organized by University of Mining and Geology “St. Ivan Rilski” and Municipality of Sozopol.

• Innovation and sustainability in mineral processing

• Conservation, rehabilitation and recycling in mineral processing

• Education and other subjects related to mineral processing

• Development of human resources for mineral industry

• Ancient mining, mineral processing and metallurgical technology

The proceedings (hard copy and digital format) will be available to the participants at the time of the Congress.

The XV Balkan Mineral Processing Congress invites specialists of mining history in all of its forms to exchange recent research findings. The section “Ancient Mining, Mineral Processing and Metallurgical Technology” aims to present to an international audience of over 400 participants archaeological research results related to the ancient mining. Thematic scope of the section includes the mining history in ancient times, the development of mining and metallurgy - archaeological finds and others. Sozopol Archaeological Museum will be kindly host of the section.

Post-congress technical tours
