The drive specialist ENEMAC from Kleinwallstadt stands for avoiding expensive machine downtimes with reliability and quality. The short torque limiter type ECH for chain drives from ENEMAC is equipped with an integrated chain wheel. This makes it as narrow as a slipping clutch, but with its high repeatability and the precisely adjustable disengagement torque also offers the advantages of a ball detent clutch.

In case of an overload, the torque limiter disengages in a few seconds and the transmission of the torque stops. To activate the machine's emergency stop, the switching movement of the disc spring has to be sensed by a proximity switch. When the engine starts slowly, the limiter engages automatically after one revolution.

The safety coupling is available in 11 sizes for disengagement torques between 2 and 900 Nm; the sprocket size can be determined by the customer. The ECH type is preferred in general mechanical engineering, wherever chain drives are used as drive elements.
