Reports on the two most successful research projects of 2024 at the GVT members' meeting

At the GVT members' meeting, which took place at the end of April 2025 at the member company T.EN Zimmer GmbH in Frankfurt-Enkheim, university representatives reported on the two most successfully completed GVT research projects recently.

First, Mr. David Appelhaus, M.Sc., Technical University of Braunschweig, Institute of Chemical and Thermal Process Engineering, reported on the GVT project of the year 2025 on the topic of “Recyclable material recovery using thin-film evaporation”.

This was followed by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Bernhard Hoffner, Mannheim University of Applied Sciences, Institute of Mechanical Process Engineering, who reported on “Systematization, description and evaluation of imperfections in the through-flow washing of filter cakes”.

The topics of both presentations met with great interest from the representatives of GVT member companies.
