W ith the ABX High Performance Classifier the already very effective AWR classifier was improved again. By using CFD simulation of the expected particle flow the design of a high dust load up to 700 g/m³ and a decrease in pressure of only 9-12 mbar with a high selective classification at the same time was realized. Furthermore the material transport is simplified: A top-loader with only one or two feeding points depending on the installation size ensures that the charging material is dispersed reliably. The finely dispersed material falls into the classifying area, located between the air blades and the rotor. Therefore the classifier body is no longer subject to abrasive jet wear.

The high-speed classifier rotor with its blades is made of wear resistant high alloy steels to ensure a long lifetime. Possible imbalances of the rotor are steadily avoided by using CNC mill-technics.

For RHEWUM´s customers these attributes mean low operational costs - air flow & pressure drop - for lifetime, compared to conventional air sifters. The RHEWUM ABX classifier combines functional principles of well-known air classifiers to an absolute new high-efficiency classifier type. Customers regularly ask for an entire separation solution out of a single hand. By this new classifier RHEWUM offer one more piece of equipment for a high efficiency solution to separate reliably the full range of particle sizes.
