Future Award Brandenburg 2009

On 2 November 2009, the winners of the Future Award Brandenburg 2009 were honoured in Bad Saarow for their special entrepreneurial performances (Fig.). Heiko Zemmler, owner of the company ZEMMLER Siebanlagen, received the award from the president of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK), Dr. Ulrich Müller, and the editor-in-chief of Märkische Oderzeitung, Frank Mangelsdorf. The company received the Future Award because it has developed into a European player since its foundation as one-man company in 2000. With the development of his double-drum screening plant Heiko Zemmler detected a niche, which he used consistently to set up a company with unique selling points in the shortest time. The members of the jury judged the growth as convincing and sustainable. The turnout is increasing in steps of 30 %.
